10th Annual Tampa Veg Fest

Tampa Bay Veg Fest is an annual event that welcomes the Tampa community and beyond to celebrate all things healthy, compassionate, and environmentally sustainable. The event has been coordinated by Florida Voices for Animals for almost 10 years! Featuring nationally renowned speakers, 140+ veg-friendly vendors/exhibitors, animal rescue groups, vegan food, raw/cooking demonstrations, humane education, live music & entertainment, yoga classes, vegan cook-offs and activities for children and families, Veg Fest offers a diverse experience for all to learn about living a healthy, compassionate, and eco-friendly lifestyle. South Tampa Fall Fest

Join us for a family friendly Fall Fest from 10am to 3pm at the Gandy Civic Center in South Tampa on Saturday, November 9th. Entry is free with the option to purchase tickets to use for games, crafts, a bake sale, and silent auction (see our Facebook event for contributor). Vendors will also be present so you can get some holiday shopping taken care of while you support a great cause!

100% of the proceeds from the games, crafts, bake sale, and auction will benefit Chicktime Tampa and Miracles Outreach Community and Development Center. Each month Chicktime hosts workshops for teen girls in foster care who have been victims of abuse and/or human trafficking, or who are homeless. Proceeds will go towards these events as well as renovat needs for a location the girls were recently transitioned to.

Bad A** Beerfest

Bad A** Beerfest Returns to TBBC Westchase Saturday November 9th Now in it’s sixth year, BABF, is one of the largest craft beer festivals in the Southeast with over 60 breweries, 200+ beers, live music, food, and craft beer lifestyle vendors.

Three different ticket types are available including: VIP, General Admission, and Designated Driver.

NEW FOR 2019:
1. 20 Out of State / International Breweries and 40 Florida Based Breweries. Come try some of the best beers in the country/world from acclaimed independent breweries. Follow our Facebook/Instagram pages for brewery and taplists.

2. New Longer Hours. BABF increases from a three hour to a five hour fest and moves to daytime. Noon – 5PM.

3. Early VIP Entrance. VIP ticket holders will gain access to the fest 30 minutes prior to general admission.

VIP: Includes access to the festival 30 minutes prior to General Admission, souvenir tasting glass, a 4-pack of Hop Silo 8 (to be brewed in collaboration with a festival brewery, available for pickup a couple weeks after the fest) and access to VIP Lounge inside our production brewery with special TBBC taps and bathrooms. $120.00 (Limited to 200 tickets)
General Admission: Includes access to the festival and a souvenir tasting glass. $65.00 (Limited to 1600 tickets)
Designated Driver: Includes access to the festival, plus free water/soft drinks, and a meal ticket for redemption at the TBBC BBQ tent. $15.00 (Limited to 100 tickets)
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
ALL Attendees must be 21 years of age or older, no exceptions, including designated drivers. To enter everyone must present a valid, not expired, driver’s license OR a valid, not expired US Passport.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Limited parking is available at fields within a short walk. Look for signage and personnel directing traffic. DO NOT PARK in the TBBC Westchase paved parking lot facing Race Track Road or in neighboring lots that are not marked for such as you may be towed.
TBBC highly encourages you to utilize public transportation or ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. Be smart and safe as we’d like to see you again.

Tampa Greek Festival 2019

The Tampa Greek Festival is one of Hillsborough County’s oldest cultural celebrations. Established more than 30 years ago, the festival strives to bring its heritage, its Orthodoxy, and of course, its wonderful food to individuals from throughout Tampa Bay. It is one of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church’s biggest public fundraisers.

Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy strolling through the Grand Hall, indulging in inventive spirits at the Opa! Party Tent, and watching professional sports games, an outdoor oasis on the opposite side of the cathedral from the Kid’s Zone. Whether it’s freshly-prepared Mediterranean style food and pastries, an evening of live music and beautiful choreographed dance, or a unique shopping experience, The Tampa Greek Festival gives everyone the chance to enjoy life like a Greek.
