Need a Last Minute Outfit? Head to One of Our Local Boutiques- We Got You Covered!

Whether you’re in the Tampa area for business or pleasure (or you’re lucky enough to get to do both), sometimes a circumstance happens where you need an extra outfit or two now. We got you; shopping is one of our favorite pastimes, and there’s something for everyone in the boutique scene. Here’s our top 5, and a bonus for those that can get down to St. Petersburg on a Sunday, because if the timing is good, you won’t want to miss it! Just make sure to head back to Tampa for dinner (our favorite is recommended).

1. LMB Boutique

LMB Boutique (formally known as Liz Murtagh Boutique)

815 Howard Ave
Tampa, FL 33606
M-Sat: 11AM-7PM
Sun: 11AM-4PM

For women’s fashion, this is your best overall experience. LMB Boutique (formally known as Liz Murtagh Boutique) is everything the word “boutique” brings to mind- soft dresses your friends will rave about, adorable and unique t’s, finds from near and far, and the perfect accessories (hello amazing stacking bracelets and necklaces that are bold and chunky yet so accessible that you can’t claim “it’s not my style” because they’re too beautiful)- you can splurge or save with prices ranging from $20 to $200.

The overall vibe is somewhat bohemian, but pared down, so even if your style isn’t full on boho, you’ll still be sure to find a winning combination. If you’re prepped enough ahead, you can also snag a coupon from their website if you’re in town while they’re running a special! This boutique is well and happily run, and that’s exactly how you’ll feel wearing (literally) anything you buy. Who knew that fleeting moment of “I don’t have anything to wear” could turn into such fun? LMB apparently did…

P.S. THEY HAVE A SPA!!! So on your way to the shop, call to check on availability for your favorite spa treatments. They come as highly recommended as their clothes and won’t let you leave without feeling fabulous!

2. {a} haley boutique

{a} haley boutique

128B S West Shore Blvd
Tampa, FL 33609
M-Sat: 10AM-7PM
Sun 12PM-5PM

Another women’s fashion boutique, {a} haley boutique is your go-to if you’re a pro Insta-shopper! They are the best for social media shopping so while you’re scrolling your feed and attempting to juggle the rest of your Tampa to-do list while in search of an outfit, you can find the perfect one without leaving the comfort of your Air BnB, hotel, or resort room.

Have the added satisfaction of supporting an independent, family owned shop- it is embedded into their customer care approach that your shopping experience be one of a kind and like nothing else you will find in Florida! If you opt to shop in store, you will receive plenty of personal attention and care for whatever your style shopping needs may be. Enjoy the experience, and one of your best (and our favorite) reasons to come back and visit the area!

3. The Pink Palm Tampa

Th Pink Palm Sara Katherine Ennis

1532 S Dale Mabry Hwy
Tampa, FL 33629
M-F: 10AM-6PM;
Sat: 10AM-5PM;
Sun: Closed

This is a shop full of joy and bright colors that we dub the best for mom/daughter shopping! Definitely best for resort-wear, this shop is full of fun women’s and girls items that will bring a smile to your face. Check out their social media that is often running promotions for some of our favorite savings, and hit the shop with your daughter (did you forget robes and matching hair ties for your spa day or need a better bikini for the beach?) for a fun, friendly, Floridian shopping treasure trove. This is also your go-to spot if your last second shopping needs involve a beach or spa bag/accessories (water bottles, because hydration is key)! If you like everything coordinated, most pieces will have a match! And if you like to mix and match, the options are virtually endless and joyfully colorful.

4. Blind Tiger Cafe/Black + Denim

1901 E 7th Ave
Tampa, Florida 33605
M-Th: 7:30AM-8:30PM
F: 7:30AM-10PM
Sat: 8:30AM-10PM
Sun: 9AM-8:30PM

This one goes out to the men! Boutiques are this overwhelmingly feminine experience, which is fantastic, but what if you’re on the hunt for something to wear and not really feeling a generic mall type of shop? We’re here for that. And Blind Tiger Cafe/Black + Denim is the place. Check out the fantastic selection of clothing and coffee (and it’s also a shared workspace – so if you’re a creative you might want to mosey on in just to socialize) in this unique spot. Heading here is a great choice for heading to the top of the “cool” list, as it’s definitely a #trending spot.

The clothing items you’ll find are an assortment of amazing graphic tee’s, some business-casual attire with unique accents, and premium denim. Pair with your coolest sneakers and you’ll be right at home in this young-but-professional zone. As a bonus, this spot is open past traditional business hours so if you’re busy (or busy chilling elsewhere most of the day and want to keep your shopping to the evening hours), this is absolutely the store for you!

5. The Oxford Exchange

the Oxford Exchange

420 W Kennedy Blvd
Tampa, FL 33606
M-F: 7:30AM-5:30PM;
Sat-Sun: 9AM-5:30PM

For another super unique experiential shopping adventure, and if you’re looking for the smartest accessorizing and gifting experience as part of your boutique needs- look no further than the truly decorous Oxford Exchange! Be prepared to spend some serious time (and possibly serious money) here, and enjoy every second of sharp accents and finishes. We highly recommend their amazing and perfectly curated selection of jewelry. Snag some for you and grab something for a friend or significant other as well- count the impeccable “Journey” rope bracelets and array of gorgeous silver and gold earring collection in your “don’t miss” list!

Not only do these pieces show timeless taste, but they really will represent the best Tampa has to offer. Oh, and if you weren’t fully satiated by the shopping, the menu at the restaurant is gorgeous so take a peak before popping in to decide whether you should show up hungry (we say definitely stop by for Afternoon Tea, served Friday-Sunday, 3PM-5PM, and feel extra fancy with the Champagne Tea to clink glasses and congratulate yourself and any shopping buddies for the wonderful afternoon).

BONUS ROUND: St. Petersburg

6. Corey Ave Sunday Market

398-300 Corey Ave,
St Pete Beach, FL 33706
Sun: 10AM-2PM

So this may be too out of the way for some, but time permitting, you’ll want to catch the Corey Ave Sunday Market for the sweet vendors and the sweet location. It’s right in the heart of boutique-town St. Petersburg! The only downside is that it’s only available on Sundays, so if your shopping needs happen any other day of the week, stick with the others on the list for fuller availability!

In terms of what you’ll find- a diversity of outfitters among a beautiful boutique “neighborhood”- so there really isn’t anything you won’t find (and vendors rotate, so make sure to snag the business cards of the ones you really enjoy- most of them have active websites and social media accounts where you can place orders in the future). This is a fun one to spend with friends and savor a beautiful day. Plus, you’ll work up an appetite so when you’re back Tampa-side, we highly recommend at least considering a stop by Terra Gaucha for the most spectacular Brazilian dinner to relax and refuel.
